SAL — Statement of Work Progress

The SAL (stato avanzamento lavori) is the measure of the value of work completed up to a given date, expressed as a share of the total contract amount.

Site daily report

The site daily report is the daily document on which work hours, attendance, tasks performed, equipment used and notes on work progress are recorded.

Delivery note (DDT)

The DDT (documento di trasporto) is the document that accompanies goods leaving the sender. It states who ships, who receives, what is being transported and in what quantity.

Bill of quantities

The bill of quantities is the detailed list of works in a project, with their quantities, units of measure and unit prices, used to determine the estimated total cost.

Construction site margin

The construction site margin is the difference between a project's revenues and the direct costs incurred to carry it out, expressed in absolute value or as a percentage.

The hourly cost of a construction worker is the real cost the company incurs for one hour of work, including pay, contributions and ancillary charges, not just the simple hourly wage.
